Medifast was originally available only through a doctor. It is now available through its own website with more choices and more satisfaction for clients to lose weight.

Medifast is considered a high protein and low calorie weight loss program. With the high protein you can retain valuable muscle mass and still lose about 2-5 pounds a week. Retaining that muscle mass will help you burn more calories through the day.
